Job Title: Travel Co-Ordinator
Reports to: Office Manager
Location: Central Region - Riyadh


Role Context:


The OM&T19-22 Support Contract is a current Service Delivery Programme for the client, UK MOD in Saudi Arabia, the customer being the Saudi Arabia National Guard. Work sites in Riyadh, Dammam & Jeddah. KBR will deliver the following workstreams:


Support in delivering IP Telephony at multiple sites, host applications such as Network Management System, Cable Management System & Remedy incident management software.
Operation of Service Desks in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah.
Support to maintain operational capability of Fixed & Deployable equipment/capabilities.
Design & deliver a new Management Information System
Technical & English Language Training in Riyadh & 3 regional locations.
Built Estate maintenance & upkeep




Role Description:


The Travel Co-Ordinator works as part of the Office Management team, reporting to the Office Manager. The role involves the booking and paying for all company travel, issuing of tickets and co-ordinating the booking of accommodation. The Travel Co-Ordinator will act as a central focal point for all employee travel needs.



Responsibilities include:


Co-ordinating the fulfilment of all company travel needs through dealing with the authorised company travel agent (Ace Travel). This includes:
Flight booking
Hotel booking
Car/taxi booking

Provision of tickets and booking information to company travellers.
Dealing with all company travel queries.
Providing regular feedback to management regarding company travel. (number of trips, cost etc.)
Undertake ad hoc tasks and project work as directed by Line Management.
Ensures full audit trail in place to satisfy internal, and external auditors (KBR or Client).


Qualifications, Experience and Skills

Qualifications:

A formal qualification or training and experience in international travel booking for business environment.

Have, or be able to obtain, necessary security clearance.



Experience and Skills:
Essential:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in administration, preferably in travel co-ordination.

Strong general IT skills, awareness and aptitude (including data manipulation in spreadsheets etc.).

Excellent communications skills, including strong spoken and written English language skills.

Confident in dealing with third parties – travel agents.

Organised – ability to plan and prioritise work.

Proactive – will actively seek and present solutions to problems.

Ability to work unsupervised.

A team player, able to operate in a multi-national and multi-disciplinary environment.
Desirable:
Experience of working in Gulf Co-operation Council (GCC) countries.
