JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor under the Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Saudi Air Force aircraft and train RSAF personnel safely in a training environment in how to use their aircraft, equipment and weapons.

As the Supply Chain Performance Group Leader, the job holder will be responsible to the Supply Chain Operations Manager for defining, planning, managing and the delivery of effective performance management across the Salam Supply Chain operation.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
Responsibilities include:
Day to day management of Supply Chain Operations performance to both schedule and cost.
Development and monitoring of departmental plans to ensure customer requirements are achieved against contracted performance measures (PIs/KPIs).
Day to day management of suppliers and key sub-contractors to ensure all agreed project deliverables are delivered to time, cost and quality and that all issues are effectively addressed in a timely fashion
Compilation of supply performance packs in support of monthly contract reviews.
Departmental risk and opportunity management.
Delivering continuous improvements to the Supply Chain Operation.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Must have extensive experience in performance management and reporting (both schedule and cost) across a supply chain operation. Must have experience of managing suppliers and key sub-contractors to ensure all agreed project deliverables are delivered to time, cost and quality and that all issues are effectively addressed in a timely fashion.
Must have a clear and demonstrable understanding of availability contracting.
Must have experience of risk and opportunity management within a supply chain and have a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement initiatives across an operation.
