Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Manager / Director in supply Chain Management
There are four major elements of supply chain management: integration, operations, purchasing and distribution, each relies on the others to provide a seamless path from plan to completion as affordably as possible. Position also is responsible for all shipment forecasting and reporting activities.
Direct purchasing, warehousing, distribution, through supervision of the inbound and outbound traffic, managing the buying and delivery process of goods or services and the placement and delivery of purchase orders.
The Supply Management duty is to discover the best ways to cut procurement expenses, so that the company can invest in growth and people.

Plan and implement the overall supply chain strategy
Determine key supply chain KPIs
Suggest solutions for process improvements
Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner
Train and evaluate others
Provide constructive feedback
Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors
Build and maintain good relationships with vendors
Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies
Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships
Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
Approve the ordering of necessary goods and services
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies
Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
Examine and test existing contracts

At least 10 years proven Senior work experience in supply chain management position as a Supply Manager/ Director.
Manufacturing field experience is a must.
Steel manufacturing is most preferable, especially in purchasing of all kind of steel coils.
Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market Talent in negotiations and networking
Project management.
Technical understanding.
Cost accounting skills.
Ability to understand financial statements.
Understanding of e-business / e-procurement systems.
Troubleshooting, problem solving.
Understanding of cross-cultural / global issues.
Business ethics.
Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software
Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
Experience in collecting and analyzing data
Strong leadership capabilities
Talent in negotiations and networking
BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics or business administration
